Ford Ka

A much-loved Ford classic, the new Ka is a city car of proven pedigree. Its combination of convenience and charm continues to appeal to small car buyers throughout the UK.
The athletic but curvaceous lines of the new Ka have won it many admirers. Its sleek design, however, does not merely look great – the aerodynamic shape of the vehicle enhances the admirable performance and handling. A new anti-roll bar also adds significantly to the rigidity of the chassis, improving the finely balanced vehicle’s cornering ability and reducing body roll.
The interior of the car is similarly striking, with a dynamic design and quality craftsmanship that belies the affordability and size of the vehicle. Just as surprising in a compact supermini is the amount of headroom and legroom available, as well as the 50/50 split folding rear seats which allow you to free up a maximum 747 litres of storage space.
Technologically advanced amenities are also abundant, particularly on higher-spec models. The optional stereo system, for example (standard on Studio Connect versions and above) is fully MP3 compatible, whilst a Bluetooth® with voice control ensures your safety and comfort on every journey.
Low running costs are also one of the most appealing qualities of the Ka. Both the 1.25 litre petrol engine and the 1.3 litre diesel unit emit less than 115g/km CO2 (109g/km, with the diesel edition, meaning that the cost of road tax is minimal. Combined fuel consumption, at 57.7mpg for the petrol engine and 68/9mpg for the diesel, drives down the expense even further.
