Last night Ford announced their exciting future and made headlines by delivering the global debut of the next generation Ford Fiesta at a special 'Go Further' event in Cologne, Germany. Four new production variants of the Fiesta were unveiled, the face-lifted Titanium, ST-Line and the all-new Active and Vignale!
The Titanium is the core model, taking the Fiesta upscale to an exciting level of elegance. The new interior features an 8-inch floating high-definition touchscreen complete with Ford's SYNC 3 communications and entertainment system. The Fiesta will also be the first Ford to deliver a new premium Bang & Olufsen (B&O) PLAY Sound System.
The premium Ford Vignale range has now extended to include the seventh generation Fiesta. Benefiting from the luxurious, high-spec makeover, the Fiesta Vignale will feature 18-inch alloys, panoramic sunroof, tuxedo-stitched leather seats as well as exclusive detailing and colours.
The Fiesta ST-Line is now even better. With a new sporty exterior styling, suspension lowered by 10mm as well as unique alloy wheels, grille and bumpers, the new Fiesta ST-Line looks to continue offering a fun driving experience. Apart from the general new generation updates to the interior, the ST-Line now features a flat-bottom racing steering wheel for the first time! Inspired by other Ford performance vehicles, the ST-Line has more grip, higher responsiveness and smoother ride. Ford have also added solid rear brake discs which brings its braking distance within 1 meter of a Porsche 911!
The all-new Fiesta Active crossover model offers something new to previous generations, with some SUV details. The Active has a raised suspension by 18mm, roof bars and additional cladding around the wheel arches, which provides the Fiesta with an SUV style and higher ride height for driving and ground clearance.
