Ford Offer Commercial Scrappage Incentives

The scrappage scheme is back! But this time it is for commercial vehicles. Ford’s new van scrappage scheme is aimed at helping London-based van drivers’ drive greener by swapping their old vans for something newer and more economical.

Under the London Low Emission Zone (LEZ) initiative all van and minibus drivers are required to meet certain standards and from January 2012 these will be much stricter. Every new Ford van will however meet LEZ emissions standards.

If you own a commercial vehicle that is 10 years or older and is registered to an address within the M25 you will be entitled to exchange it for up to £3,000 off a new Ford van. If you're outside the M25 but can prove you regularly travel into the LEZ then you may still qualify The Ford Fiesta Van, Ford Transit Connect and Ford Transit are all available under the scheme.
