SMC Ford Awarded for Quality

SMC Ford Gravesend was awarded last week in recognition of their 100% pass rate of all independent vehicle quality audits, another example of SMC’s strive for perfection. Chris Hossacks from the Ford Motor Company presented Andy Sage, Gravesend's Workshop Controller, with the award.

The RAC Service Workshop Quality Programme is designed by Ford to manage and improve Ford’s Authorised Repairers Workshop quality and customer satisfaction. In the past 12 months SMC Ford Gravesend has passed each randomly selected vehicle audit performed by an RAC representative.

RAC Inspection Services inspect up to 10,000 nationwide customer-owned vehicles each year, which are in the dealerships for service or repair work. An extensive number of physical checks are completed and the vehicle is placed under an audit process using the Ford Quality Check procedure.

The RAC Quality Check confirms that SMC Ford Gravesend have carried out all requested work fully and to the high standards prescribed by Ford Motor Company.
